01 — The Challenge

Temperature abuse is invisible until it’s too late.

Billions of dollars of life-saving biologics and perishable goods are lost every year because heat exposure during transit goes undetected. A vial can look perfectly fine long after its potency has been destroyed.

VACCINES & BIOLOGICS

Health workers cannot visually distinguish a viable vaccine from one ruined by heat. The result? Administered placebos and wasted public health budgets.

Frozen and chilled goods often thaw and refreeze during distribution. By the time a consumer opens the package, the quality—and safety—has already degraded.

02 — Our Approach

A single platform.
Irreversible by design.

We are engineering a unified chemistry platform that undergoes a permanent color change when exposed to cumulative heat above a calibrated threshold.

One core science, formulated across different substrates—flexographic inks for food packaging, diagnostic strips for IVDs, and compliant vial monitors for vaccines.

We are currently optimizing the formulation matrix. Researchers interested in the underlying kinetics and polymer interactions are encouraged to reach out directly to our lab.

Zero Infrastructure

Reads with the naked eye. No scanners, RFID, or digital infrastructure required for point-of-care verification.

Cumulative Response

Based on Arrhenius kinetics, the labels respond to the total heat exposure over time, not just a single threshold spike.

Irreversible Signal

Once the chromophore activates, the color change is thermodynamically permanent. It cannot revert upon cooling.
